Kinay Essentials began in 2017 as a humble soap-making hobby by Gab Bautista, a licensed chemist with a passion for creating safe, natural, and effective personal care products. Using traditional techniques, she crafted vibrant and beautiful artisan soaps—each bar thoughtfully formulated and hand-poured with care.
What started as a personal creative outlet soon blossomed into something bigger. Encouraged by positive feedback from friends, family, and early customers, Gab began joining local bazaars to share her soaps with a wider community. The response was overwhelmingly warm, inspiring her to continue learning, innovating, and refining her craft.
Fueled by constant research and a deep commitment to clean, science-backed beauty, Kinay Essentials expanded beyond artisan soaps to include a wider range of products—organic haircare, gentle skincare solutions, and home fragrances—all made with naturally sourced ingredients and a mindful approach to formulation.
In December 2018, this growing demand and vision led to the establishment of Kinay Cosmetics Manufacturing—an FDA-licensed cosmetics manufacturer based in Rizal. With this, Gab turned her passion project into a fully operational manufacturing business dedicated to creating mindful beauty and wellness products that are inspired by nature and grounded in science.
